Cultural Awareness Foundation (CAF) was established on March 4, 2003 by 148 founding members consisting of a diverse professional profile that includes academics, artists, archeologists, architects, art historians, and businessman/businesswoman, all concerned with historical and cultural heritage and awareness.

There are 114 Friends of Foundation who actively support our Foundation, which in fact has been a pioneer amongst NGOs in Turkey in terms of the number and diversity of its founding members. Our Foundation does not receive any of organizational or financial support from a national or international institution. The resources with which the Foundation pursue its activities are met by the Board members, Friends of Foundation, projects and the income produced by the seminars and conferences organized under the roof the Foundation.
