The Board of Trustees which consists meets every January at a general assembly and evaluates the activities and accounts of the Foundation. It approves the planning and budget of the following years. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees which consists of 148 founding members is a pioneer structure amongst NGOs in Turkey both in terms of the number of its members and in terms of its professional diversity.

The Board of Directors is elected every three years

by the Board of Trustees. It consists of seven main and three substitute members. Board of Directors defines the professional principles and organize volunteer groups along with the lines of the mission and the vision of the Foundation and takes decisions to implement the necessary activities.

Based on the authority given by the Board of Trustees, the Foundation’s Internal Auditory Board controls the Foundation’s activities and accounting. It gets elected for three years of service. It consists of three main and two substitute members.

The 114 Friends of the Foundation who follow the principle of voluntary work take an active role in creating new projects, finding new sources and pursuing them. To be a Friend of Foundation, one has to be shown candidate by a member of the Board of Trustees or that of the Friends of Foundation.

There is also a full-time staff reporting to the General Coordinator of the Foundation.
